The software used by a small Finnish company no longer met its e-commerce needs. A colleague and I built a prototype for a new design tool, which the company approved for further development.

Starting point

The software already in use made an important step in the company’s e-commerce workflow difficult. The aim was to make that step easier without replacing the whole system.

What we built

A colleague and I built a working prototype for an e-commerce design tool. We focused on a step the company needed to handle online, so it could be tried before deciding on a broader implementation.

The design was based on how the company works and what it needs from the tool in practice.

Effects on time, sales or customer experience have not yet been measured.
